By the Seine

One of my goals during my short trip to France was to capture portraits of myself and others. This self-portrait was captured by the Seine River in Paris, France. It was a spur-of-the-moment shot. The photoshoot I had initially planned didn't go as intended, so I used the props I brought to do self-portraits while sightseeing by the River. This was my first time capturing self-portraits in public, let alone in a foreign country, but I decided to face my fears. I was very proud of myself for capturing this beautiful image, even though I felt very vulnerable, while many tourists and other onlookers passed by and watched.
